Our story
Areeka Time is a small dessert business based in Christchurch, dedicated to introducing traditional Middle Eastern desserts to our local community. We believe in sharing authentic flavours and simple, natural ingredients through desserts not commonly found in New Zealand.
Our specialty desserts
We take pride in our two signature desserts, Masoob and Areeka. Each is crafted with care, using traditional recipes and the finest natural ingredients to bring you a truly unique taste experience.
Masoob
A warm banana-based dessert made from ripe mashed bananas mixed with pieces of traditional bread. Topped with pure natural honey, fresh cream, and mixed nuts.
Areeka
A traditional dessert made from crumbled bread mixed with soft date paste, combined with ghee and topped with natural honey and mixed nuts.
